The Drawback process itself is somewhat consistent across Countries and can be organized broadly into four key steps: Retrieve, Prepare, Submit, and Transfer. This streamlined approach is meant to align with the business processes of our Customers as they move product and materials in and out of their operating countries.

How we approach Duty Drawbacks

DrawbackHub is designed to streamline and simplify the process of filing duty drawback claims, making it easier for businesses to recover funds.

Step 1: We Retrieve

We start by gathering essential data from your business systems. This includes both import and export data.

Step 2: We Prepare

Once the data is retrieved, we work to prepare it for Claim submission. Our powerful workbench allows you to validate your Import and Export data.

Depending on the type of project you are working on, you might take an Export led or Import led approach to gathering and matching transactional data. Validation is performed along the way, and necessary Account artifacts attached to Claims.

Transactional data is then transformed into a comprehensive drawback claim adhering to Jurisdictional requirements. The Claim is then ready for Submission to your Customs Authority and its workflows. Our user-friendly interface allows you to review and validate the data before submission, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Step 3: We Submit

Now that the Claim is prepared, the system will package the Claim submission based on the Operating practices of each Country.

Our platform generates Claim artifacts be they for print or delivery through electronic channels to Customs Authorities. Each Jurisdiction is a little different.

Drawback Hub will help mitigate exceptions by validating data and ensuring required supporting documents for certain Drawback Claim types are flagged and included. Our application helps reduce the risk of rejections and delays. By adhering to our data requirements, you will not only have requisite data for Claim submissions but also to support standard Auditing which may be performed by Customs Authorities periodically.

Step 4: We Transfer

Upon approval of the drawback claim by customs, the refunded duties are transferred to your bank account. Our platform tracks the progress of your claim and notifies you once the funds are released, ensuring a smooth and transparent process.
